It’s a sunny summer morning and I have hung a small wash out on the line to dry. I left the laundry basket by the table where we earlier had breakfasted with a neighbor’s gift of homemade muffins and coffee. The day was so gorgeous with low humidity and blue sky that I asked my sister to pose for a bit. After she sat down, our dog Jack joined us. The goodness of summer’s serendipitous moments is in this painting.
